Fundraiser in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ® Iota Tau Omega Chapter (a 501(c)3 organization) was established in 2015 by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Iota Tau Omega Chapter. Iota Tau Omega Chapter has served the community for more than 50 years and in partnership with the Foundation provides scholarships to high school students and continuing college students at local HBCUs, support services and community programs of need in the communities we serve.
The mission of The Pearls of Distinction Foundation, Inc. is to encourage academic excellence, support youth in need, contribute to the improvement of the health of the community in general, promote the advancement of leadership development, support initiatives for a cleaner environment, and support the economic empowerment of families.
